Chomu Palace Wedding- Day 1 {Indian Wedding Photographer}- Chomu Palace, Jaipur, Rajasthan

The official start to  Zahra and Yusuf’s dream destination wedding at the Chomu Palace in Rajasthan, India was the Mendhi Party. It was spectacular in every single way. The decor was incredible- gorgeous colorful teapots with fresh flowers on top Rajasthani Hand Embroidered runners decorated the tables. Colorful fabrics were draped everywhere and mirrored umbrellas were positioned in the trees. The outdoor setting with the spectacular fresh flowers and colors set the scene for Zahra and Yusuf’s amazing entrance. The couple arrived on top of a neon painted elephant. The entrance was a surprise to all the wedding guest and set the tone for a weekend full of beauty, excitement, and fun! Halfway through the entrance, the elephant had to take a poop and soiled the red runners. I couldn’t help but remember the gorgeous newborns I photograph daily who do the same thing during our newborn photo shoots. The evening included delicious street food stalls serving up India’s best local delicacies and a lively drumming band who set a mood for dancing, laughter, and games. Zahra wanted me to enjoy the wedding and request I put down my camera – I complied but snapped these photographs before her request.
