Day two of Asma & Yousuf’s three days wedding was the reception, and was held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Cherry Hill, NJ. Before the reception began, I individually photographed both the bride and groom as they got ready for the evening festivities. We did a short photo session outside the hotel before the start of the evening program. Yousuf then joined his family and they arrived together in what is traditionally called the Barat. The program consisted of speeches from the bride’s family, portraits, and a departure ceremony of the bride to her new home.
