I had the most wonderful time photographing this gorgeous couple in the United Kingdom last month. The groom was from South Asian descent, and the bride Iraqi. The wedding lasted four days and included traditions from the cultural backgrounds of the couple. It was so wonderful being able to capture the beautiful festivities on camera. The first day was a women’s only event called the Mendhi. The second event was the registry – or the formal legal marriage ceremony. The couple rented out Moor Park Golf Club for a photo shoot after the ceremony and it couldn’t have been a more amazing backdrop for the photographs! The walls of the mansion were covered with stunning frescos and beautiful opulent designs. Here is a sneak peak of a few of my favorites…there were so many beautiful photographs that it was very difficult to only share a few.
