The second day of Zahra and Yusuf’s amazing wedding was the actual Nikkah Ceremony. Prior to the Nikkah, Zahra held a Ghor Ceremony with her immediate family. Β Traditionally a Ghor Ceremony is done prior to the bride leaving her home. Money is donated by family members to bless the bride prior to her departure. Β The ceremony is an emotion filled time for the family of the bride. Β Here are a few of my favorite photos taken prior to Zahra’s Ghor Ceremony. During the actual ceremony, I put down my camera and let her official photographer photograph the event.Β
