The second day of Zahra and Yusuf’s amazing wedding was the actual Nikkah Ceremony. Prior to the Nikkah, Zahra held a Ghor Ceremony with her immediate family. Traditionally a Ghor Ceremony is done prior to the bride leaving her home. Money is donated by family members to bless the bride prior to her departure. The ceremony is an emotion filled time for the family of the bride. Here are a few of my favorite photos taken prior to Zahra’s Ghor Ceremony. During the actual ceremony, I put down my camera and let her official photographer photograph the event.
