Bangladeshi Nikkah Ceremony {New Jersey South Asian Engagement/Wedding Photographer}- Princeton, NJ

Last Monday, I photographed this beautiful Bangladeshi couples nikkah ceremony. It was an intimate affair with close family in attendance. Both the bride and groom to-be looked amazing. Before the ceremony, we snuck outside for a quick photo shoot. Since it is winter here in the East coast, it was a little chilly, but the couple bared the chill for a few photographs.

Central Park Children’s Photo Shoot {NYC/Manhattan Children & Baby Photographer}- Central Park, NY

I photographed this adorable family this past fall in the beautiful central park. Some of the leaves were beginning to change and they provided a colorful backdrop for the shoot. One of my favorite parts of being a photographer is that I get to play with kids. During a shoot, I will pretty much do anything to elicit a smile, giggle, or laugh…

Newborn Baby Photo Shoot {New York Newborn Baby Photographer}- Scarsdale, NY

I photographed this sweet family recently. It was such a joy to be able to photograph their newest member, a beautiful baby girl. Here are a few of my favorite photographs from the session.

Maternity Photo Shoot {NJ/NYC Maternity Photographer}- Edgewater, NJ

Here are a few photographs from a maternity photo shoot I did last month. I love being able to photograph moms-to-be during this special time in their lives as they are often filled with a range of emotions from uncontrollable excitement to anticipation for their baby’s arrival. I feel privilege to share in this moment of joy with my moms-to-be as they embark on the special journey of motherhood.

South Asian Wedding Details {NJ Indian Wedding Photographer}- Austin, Tx

South Asian Weddings are known for their bright colors. This past summer, I photographed a beautiful three day wedding in Austin, Texas. I’ve decided to share three of my favorite detail photographs from the wedding. The first was taken of the bride’s bangles on the day of her Mendhi. I used the bride’s vibrant dupatta as a backdrop to accent the colors in the bangles. The second photograph is of the bride’s hands elaborately decorated with henna/mendhi. This photograph was taken the morning of the wedding. I love the contrast of the henna/mendhi against the beaded, white wedding lenga. The last image was taken at the brides reception at an outdoor venue in Austin called the Hummingbird House. This picture focuses on the bridal bouquet which includes two of my favorite flowers, calla lilies and roses.
