I loved photographing this gorgeous family in studio. They visited me from Manhattan for the photo shoot. We took so many gorgeous photos so it was really hard to share just a few photos.

I loved photographing this family of four in their Jersey City Home. The newborn was 5 weeks old and had the most incredible mohawk 🙂 It was so fun photographing him with his excited older brother. There were so many gorgeous photos from the shoot- here are a few of my favorites!

I enjoy working with parents to create simple and timeless photos that they can cherish for a lifetime. Prior to the shoot, parents choose all the items they want to use for the shoot and prep the baby with some helpful tips I have learned over the last decade of photographing newborns. Sessions are relaxed, fun and an enjoyable way to create some memories during a period of time that is so fleeting and momentous in one’s life.
I loved all the soft colors that the client chose for this photo shoot. These photographs were taken on the bed in a Manhattan apartment in midtown NYC.

I had the best time photographing baby Gavin for his one year portraits! I first met him when he was only days old and couldn’t get over how big he has gotten! His smile literally melted my heart and I loved his bright blue eyes. Mom and dad did so much prep leading up to the shoot, allowing us to create this “pinterest perfect” photograph collection. Everything was ready when I arrived, from the balloons to the mirror, and from the crate to the cake. Mom and dad had sent me a bunch of ideas before the shoot giving me fresh inspiration and great artistic direction. Baby Gavin was simply put, the best!!! Here are a few of my favorite – though this was tough to narrow it down to just a few photos.

I loved photographing this gorgeous family at my Edgewater studio. I first met them when big brother was born (http://photographybyasiya.com/blog/2014/04/baby-boy-parsippany-newborn-photographer-parsippany-nj/) and it was so special to see them again during such a happy time. Mom brought some amazing props to the shoot; the sign board, which she purchased from amazon, was a fun way to spunk up some of the photos. I also love the fresh flowers mom said she picked from her garden prior to the shoot. They look so amazing and were a great way to create beautiful nature inspired images. In studio, I have tons of props available and clients who come to the studio generally choose 2-3 props to use. The major difference between having a shoot at home verses in the studio is the number of props that are used. Here are some of my favorites from our session together.
