I photographed this little guy in my Edgewater studio. Big sister looked adorable and it was such an amazing experience working with this awesome family. Here are a few of my favorite photographs from the shoot.

It seems like yesterday I was photographing this little guy at his home in Hoboken. I cant believe one year has gone by already!!! Here is the blog post from his newborn photo shoot: http://photographybyasiya.com/blog/2013/04/baby-boy-hoboken-newborn-photographer-hoboken-nj-2/. Its so special photographing baby’s one year later. It’s amazing how much they change. I’ve included some side by sides for comparison. I can’t thank my client’s enough for entrusting me to capture this family’s memories. Happy First Birthday to this adorable little guy!!!!

As a photographer, its so nice to work with families as they grow. Today I had the most amazing shoot with a family who I first met when I photographed their daughter a little under two years ago. Big sister couldn’t have been cuter and mom was just as radiant as she was the first time I met her. I loved laughing at dad’s funny jokes 😉 as we spend the afternoon together while I photographed the new baby. I feel so blessed to be entrusted with the honor of capturing life.

Travel makes me tick. It’s what I live for, what I dream about and what makes me most happy. I prioritize it – One of my life goals is to visit 30 countries before I turn 30. Right now Im at 25 and hopefully by the end of this year I will be at 27 (I turn 28 Oct 23, 2014) :-). This past October, I took the month off and visited Iraq and Switzerland. In this post, I wanted to share photos from my Switzerland portion of the trip. My mother traveled with me as we celebrated her 50th birthday together. The experience was unforgettable. I respect and love my mother so much. She is an amazing women and being able to see Switzerland with her was a dream come true. I would love to go back one day and ski the alps 🙂
The duration of the trip was 9 days and our itinerary was as follows:
Day 1: Interlaken
Day 2: Bern, Bulle, Gruyere
Day 3: Gland, Nyon, Yvoirre (France), Geneva
Day 4: Geneva, Annecy (France)
Day 5: Lausanne, Montreux
Day 6: Zermatt, Gornergrat
Day 7: Wengen, Lauterbrunnen, Lucerne
Day 8: Lucerne, Vitznau, Mt. Rigi, Zurich
Day 9: Zurich
Switzerland has an amazing public transport system. We bought the 8 day Swiss Pass and it allowed us unlimited travel on all trains, buses, trams, boats, and cable cars. We packed light and each day we visited new places. We used the storage lockers at each train station to store our luggage as we explored a new town. The most heart stopping moment of the trip was seeing the Matterhorn in Gornergrat. It was surreal- the type of experience that makes your heart skip a beat.
I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to go on this trip. I used online forums, my lonely planet kindle book, and the help of a Swiss relative (thank you Seebtain Bha) to plan and my hope is that this literary can help others. Please feel free to comment below and ask any questions as I would love to help others as they plan their Swiss adventure!

On Wednesday, I had the unique pleasure of meeting this lovely lady and doing some lifestyle and professional portraiture of her for a website she is making. When I work with someone in this capacity, I love getting to know them and making them feel very comfortable in front of the camera to ensure the creation of a portrait that is fresh and genuine. There are countless images that I love from the shoot- here are a few of my favorite ones.
