In photography, light and one’s ability to use it and capture it creates unique images. I love using different available light conditions to achieve feelings and mood in photographs. This particular photo shoot took place on a day where light was manipulated by heavy fog. I feel like this shoot took place in the clouds because the heavy fog bounced and diffused the light so much that it created a mystical landscape. It was so wonderful photographing this gorgeous mommy and daddy to be at one of my favorite spots in Central Park, the Bethesda Fountain. The heavy fog kept the park empty and allowed us create such extraordinary images. Here are a few of my favorite images from the shoot.

I loved photographed this adorable family at their upper east side home. Here are some of my favorite photos from the shoot. I can’t wait to work with them again for the newborn photo shoot.

One of the things I love most about being a traveling photographer is going to client’s homes. When a client welcomes me in their home, I immediately understand them better and it helps me create images that they will cherish. I love using parts of a room to create truly personal images. Here are a few of my favorite images from a shoot of this precious newborn baby girl her purple bedroom.

I had to share one more photo shoot from this past December. This little guys is ready for the slopes! He already has his knit scarf and hat and he is ready to take a ride on daddy’s snow board.

Happy new year everyone! I hope 2014 is a year filled with many great things and new adventures. Ive been so busy with the holiday rush that I haven’t had a chance to blog in so long. I’ve had the most amazing time working with so many different families to capture their memories this holiday season! To start off the new year, I thought I would share this photo shoot from one of the snow days we had last week. The shoot took place at a local park in Larchmont and needless to say, I had a blast capturing this family and their special relationships with one another. Here are a few of my favorite moments from the shoot!
