Newborn sessions usually take place between four and ten days after a baby’s birth. Sessions can either be held at my apartment studio in Edgewater, NJ. or in the comfort of your home (a travel fee may apply). In my studio, there is plenty of natural light as well as a wide variety of props and blankets. My style focuses on capturing newborns in a simple and beautiful way. I love photographing all the little details, from a baby’s little fingers and toes to their eyelashes. Personal items such as textured/knitted blankets, hats/bows, as well as any baskets or special props that you may have can be incorporated into the photographs. Most newborn sessions begin at 11am, when there is plenty of natural light. The sessions are never rushed, and I try to get a variety of shots including some with your baby sleeping as well as with your baby’s eyes open. Siblings and family members are welcome to take photographs with the newborn.

Please contact me as early on in your pregnancy so that I can pencil in a date for you the month that you are due. Once you deliver, please get in touch so we can solidify a time for the session during your babies first ten days of life.

The sitting fee for a newborn session is $175 dollars. This fee includes 1-3 hours of photography time and you can expect to receive 50-75 final edited images in a password protected online gallery for viewing.  Prints & digital negatives are purchased separately. The sitting fee is due when you book the session and is payable by check. Please contact me for more details.
