Jenny & Mash-hoor {NY Engagement & Wedding Photographer}- Astoria Park, NY

I had a blast photographing Mash-hoor & Jenny in Astoria park a few weeks ago. Jenny and Mash-hoor got married a little less than a year ago and wanted some photographs taken of the two of them together. Jenny is sweet and has the most gentle laugh and lovable personality. Mash-hoor is caring and fun-his charisma and energy are contagious.

Astoria park was absolutely beautiful during our photo shoot. Some of the spring blossoms were just beginning to bloom and they made the perfect backdrop for the photographs. Both Jenny and Mash-hoor came to the shoot with ideas and outfit changes and spending the afternoon together was so much fun! I’m so happy to have been able to capture such a special moment in their life together on camera. This couple is magical!

Nothing is more special to me than photographing a newborn baby. I had the absolute pleasure of photographing baby Owen a couple weeks ago. He was 7 days old when I photographed him. His grandmother Mary was visiting from Upstate during the photo shoot and she worked with me to pose this little guy. Here are a few of my favorite photographs from our session.

Ali & Sakina’s Engagement Photo Shoot {NJ Engagement Photographer}- Edgewater, NJ

There is a certain magic between recently engaged couple that I love capturing through photography. I was so excited when Ali & Sakina asked me to do their engagement photographs. Ali was visiting Sakina for the weekend from Florida. The two came to the beautiful Edgewater for the shoot. We walked along the water with stunning views of the city and had a wonderful afternoon together. Her are some of my favorite photographs from the shoot!

I recently had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful family. The three sisters spent our hour together laughing hysterically & playing with one another. I love being able to photograph families in the comfort of their own home because children tend to be relaxed & really open up in front of the camera. For me, family portraiture is about celebrating real emotions. I always encourage natural interactions, whether that be pillow fighting, tickle fests, or friendly wrestling. It’s these types of activities that allow me to get priceless photographs that show the true nature of sibling love.

Xiao Liu {Professional Lifestyle Headshots}- Edgewater, NJ

Xiao is a truly amazing human being- one of the most inspirational people I have ever met. She has a beautiful spirit and a wonderful personality. Her laugh is etherial; she is smart, quirky and fun. Xiao came to me for some headshots that she needed for an internship that she will be be doing this summer. She currently is a law student at Yale and I just know she is going to go on to do amazing things with her life. I’m so happy to have had the opportunity to meet and photograph her.
