Newborn sessions usually take place between four and fourteen days after a baby’s birth. Sessions can either be held at my apartment studio in Edgewater, NJ. or in the comfort of your home (a travel fee applies). From 6+ years of working with newborns, I combine my care, love and passion with my artistic eye to create truly unique and timeless images of your baby that can be cherished over a lifetime. Family and siblings are encouraged to participate and there is no extra fee for additional family members to be in the photographs. There is a large selection of props available including hand knit hats, baskets/bowls/beds, and posing fabrics/wraps/blankets.My style focuses on capturing newborns in a simple and beautiful way. I love photographing all the little details, from a baby’s little fingers and toes to their eyelashes. Personal items such as textured/knitted blankets, hats/bows, as well as any baskets or special props that you may have can be incorporated into the photographs. Most newborn sessions begin at either 9 am or 1pm, when there is plenty of natural light. The sessions are never rushed, and I try to get a variety of shots including some with your baby sleeping as well as with your baby’s eyes open.

Please contact me as early on in your pregnancy so that I can pencil in a date for you the month that you are due. Once you deliver, please get in touch so we can solidify a time for the session during your babies first ten days of life.

The sitting fee for a newborn session is $225 dollars. The session fee covers the photographer’s time, editing and creation of an average of 30-50 final edited images, which are presented in a password protected online gallery seven to fourteen days after the photo shoot for the purpose of purchasing digital negatives, packages, prints, a la carte items, and/or books & albums. The client has seven days after the proofs have been released to decide which item(s) they would like to purchase. The session fee and travel fee (if applicable) are due at the time of booking.
